Have you read a Marathon review in the past? I have some information for you. This article will give you an unbiased look at the many marathons held each year in your city.
First, when I got my permit to run the marathon I was thrilled because it was my first road race and it was a half-mile fun run around the track. The crowd looked like they were going to fall off their seats and cheer as we went by but as I crossed the finish line I felt a sense of relief and accomplishment. I ran another one the next year and started to think about how that race would go over with the crowds if I had those water bottles and electrolyte tablets in my race vest. That was my original plan and I still hold to that today. View here for information about the Utah Valley Marathon.

My second memory from my Belgrade marathon experience was running down the starting line and seeing all the people waving at me. I have always considered myself a fairly smart person and knew that the people at the starting line are there to do what they do and that was to have a good time. So naturally I tried to shake hands and ask them where they were from. One lady in front of me said she was from Ohio and that she was from Columbus, Ohio. I was pretty sure she knew I was from Ohio but I couldn't help myself and asked her why she came to the marathon.

She said that she didn't care where she was from and wanted to just come to the race to support her boyfriend who was coming along. That made me smile and I promised myself that I would go back for the pasta dinner and the half barrel coffee the next day. That is how I found myself getting hooked to this sport and the people who love it. You might think it would be easy to put all this together and say I love this sport but it is not that simple. First you need to get to the event. My experience with the starting line and the aid stations was bad at best.

I found the expo to be nice and it gave the runners information they needed to do their best and the course information. That is the second part though. After the expo was over and the race was starting I went back to the start line. There was a line of people in front of me and I couldn't make out what they were saying. Then I saw the women in front of me and they were talking to each other in Italian and it sounded like they knew something I didn't. By the end of the race I was trying to figure out if I had done enough to pace myself. Maybe I needed to find another running partner or a good spotter. Overall, running in crowds is a little bit different than running in smooth conditions so I will have to see how I feel about running in crowds next time.
